Therefore, we guarantee, without reservation, all merchandise ordered from our online store, just as we do from our retail locations. If you are not pleased with your purchase, for any reason, you may return it for refund or replacement.
ORDER PROCESSING
We process orders daily, and with few exceptions, ship them out within 1 or 2 working days of their receipt. When delivery is delayed for any reason, or partial shipment is made, we will send you a confirmation of your order with an anticipated delivery date. We do not charge your credit card until merchandise is shipped.
BACKORDERS
Regardless of how professionally we anticipate our inventory needs, there are times when merchandise is backordered. If an item you order is backordered, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to change the order, cancel the order, or wait for the merchandise to arrive.
Returns
Our general return policy is as follows:
- Merchandise returned with the original receipt within 10 days will receive a full refund via original method of payment.
- Merchandise being returned must be in original, unused condition and packaging with all labels intact.
- Merchandise which has been special ordered or monogrammed, is not returnable or exchangeable.
- Merchandise which has been purchased ON SALE is not returnable or exchangeable.
Please provide a detailed explanation of the reason for your return and include a copy of your original receipt. Refunds will only be credited to the account used for the original purchase. Please include your account number on your return note for faster service. The amount of credit will reflect the price of the merchandise and will not include shipping costs.
WHITING & DAVIS
The Whiting & Davis brand of handbags and accessories was acquired by Inge Christopher in September of 1999. The "new" Whiting & Davis will not be be responsible for upholding any lifetime guarantees that were issued on Whiting & Davis prior to 1999/ (The original Whiting & Davis stopped issuing these guarantees around 1980.)
Whiting & Davis does not accept responsibility for damages due to wear and tear.
Therefore we can only accept returns on damaged goods within 30 days of purchase.
